Are you looking for ways to increase student engagement while using the Edmark Reading Program? This interactive session will explore how to maximize the Edmark curriculum through hands-on activities, supplemental resources, and instructional strategies that promote meaningful learning for students with significant disabilities and other struggling readers. Participants will learn how to determine when Edmark is an appropriate instructional choice, organize lessons for success, and incorporate engaging activities that extend beyond the traditional word cards. Throughout the session, participants will have opportunities to collaborate in small groups, examine classroom-ready materials, discuss implementation challenges, and ask questions. Attendees will leave with practical ideas and access to resources that can be implemented immediately to increase student participation, independence, and reading success.
